Hypnotherapy is a process where unconscious beliefs, perceptions, etc. can be explored and changed so that a specific perception is altered to resolve conflicts. Perceptions are the main source of all experiences, so when a person’s perception changes, so do their experiences. Although there are many applications for hypnotherapy, the most common are for:
- Weight Loss
Because hypnotherapy relies on an individual’s logic and reasoning, each individual’s experience may be different. Jennifer’s speciality with hypnotherapy is resolving internal conflicts that include:
- Relationship difficulties
- Personal blocks and limitations
- Health issues
- Fears and phobias
- Self criticism
- Past-life regression
- Early childhood regression
Keep in mind that although a hypnotherapist is trained to use relaxation techniques to help someone obtain a hypnotic state, the individuals remain aware of what is taking place. The objective is not necessarily to obtain a “deep trance”, because keeping a person in a range of hypnosis can be the most effective approach. Communication and dialogue during the hypnosis process is very often crucial because it allows for a more proactive involvement from the client, which also makes the changes more effective. “Direct suggestions” can be applied as needed, after the main dialogue and resolution occurs as an additional means to reinforce the resolution. As effective as hypnotherapy can be, it does rely on the individual’s ability to objectively see what lies in their unconscious, therefore progress varies on the individual and can take some time to obtain. Soul Balancing, because it does not rely on the individual’s ability to see the unconscious “problem”, can be much faster.
